Jay Feitlinger

Founder and Digital Marketing Strategist

Jay Feitlinger is founder of StringCan Interactive, a strategic online marketing and social media agency based out of Phoenix, Arizona, and co-founder of ShopTab, the 1st Facebook App that showcases an eCommerce store on Facebook through a data feed used by companies such as Barneys NY, Coca-Cola and Zales Diamonds.

Over the past 13 years, Jay has devoted an inordinate (some would say insane) amount of time delivering innovative ideas to brands of all sizes in the interactive space. Prior to launching StringCan Interactive, Jay held a leadership position for 7 years with an Internet marketing agency based out of Phoenix, AZ, overseeing account services and digital strategy for clients such as Under Armour, Pulte Homes, Arizona State University, Taser International, University of Phoenix, and Discount Tire.

In addition to an extensive online marketing and social media background, Jay leverages his entrepreneurial experience from 4 successful businesses he launched and applies that knowledge when creating digital marketing initiatives. He understands no matter the size of the budget, measurable results are critical to prove success.

Jay also served as President of SEMPO (Search Engine Marketing Professionals Organization) Phoenix chapter, assisting agencies and brands on how best to navigate search marketing. Jay is called on to speak at many events, webinars and conferences to share advice and educate on various topics around internet marketing and social media.

Jason is focused 100% on our clients and their success, as StringCan Interactive’s Account Manager he is focused on finding the best solutions for our clients, ensuring their goals are met and quality products are produced while keeping the client apprised throughout the project.

Jason is a graduate of Northern Arizona University and a 5th generation Arizonan having grown up in the Verde Valley. Jason has a diverse background in the digital space and politics. Jason has had the opportunity to live in several countries and has a wealth of international experience, bringing a global perspective to everything he does. 

Living in downtown Phoenix with his wife and pug @StellaMcPug, Jason enjoys everything downtown living has to offer, great restaurants, entertainment venues and Phoenix sports - Go Suns!

Kevin Warhus

Digital Marketing Manager

Kevin Warhus, part of the StringCan Interactive and ShopTab teams since inception, graduated from Arizona State University with a BA in Marketing and a certificate in Entrepreneurship and Small Businesses.

Kevin garnered his wealth of experience working and connecting with businesses in many different industries, both big and small. This allowed him to develop a vast understanding of how to connect with clients and implement effective digital marketing solutions that work. Prior to working with StringCan Interactive, Kevin helped grow and develop College Mobile Deals – a mobile marketing start up - as Marketing Manager. While working with College Mobile Deals, Kevin interacted with clients such as Papa Johns, Pita Jungle, Planet Fitness, Arizona State University and a variety of other major universities. As Digital Marketing Manager at StringCan Interactive and ShopTab, Kevin has worked with clients such as Coca Cola, Barneys, Zales, and Nyko helping with social media and internet marketing services.

Kevin’s combined education and career experience primed him to effectively help businesses achieve success through digital marketing, social media, organic & pay per click search engine marketing, customer service, marketing planning, event planning, web design & development. Kevin is also an experienced blogger and is often featured in popular industry and business websites such as The Huffington Post.

Leslie Jackson

Director of Media Services

Leslie joins the StringCan Interactive team with over seven years of experience in digital marketing.

Prior to joining StringCan, Leslie held various key positions with an Internet marketing agency based in Tempe, AZ including Director of Media Content, Media Director, Senior Media Planner and Natural Search Specialist. Leslie’s worn many hats in the agency environment, making her a very well rounded and knowledgeable strategic force for her clients.

Leslie is passionate about providing comprehensive strategic direction and believes in taking a holistic view of the marketing goals and objectives to develop a plan that is custom to the client based on their needs and what will best achieve those goals.

Throughout her career, Leslie has provided strategic digital marketing services to clients such as the Irvine Company, Pulte Homes, Discount Tire, Sage Software, Tempe Tourism and many others.


Machelle Norris

Machelle Norris

Search Engine Marketing Manager

Machelle Norris is a graduate of the Art Institute of Phoenix.  Immediately after arming herself with a B.A. in Advertising/Marketing, Machelle engaged herself in the Digital Marketing world.  She had the opportunity to work with well-known advertising agencies in AZ and explored the in-house B2B world in IL.  After gaining seven years of experience within Search Engine Optimization, Machelle is now the Search Engine Marketing Manager at StringCan Interactive.  

She works closely with team members to strategically implement SEM plans.  Ensuring each action is the right strategy for each client.  Machelle also brings a strong foundation in Google Analytics and strives for measurable, relevant and qualified website traffic.

Outside of the Digital Marketing environment, Machelle plays co-ed volleyball and softball.  She also enjoys hunting for vintage/retro items to add to her collection.


Michelle Giannino

Michelle Giannino

Project Manager

Michelle is currently the Project Manager here at StringCan Interactive and dabbles in majority of our Administrative tasks.  Michelle graduated from the University of Buffalo NY with a degree in Business Administration and a concentration in Marketing.  She joined the StringCan Family in August 2012 and has since been a great asset to the team and business development.

Previously, Michelle has worked on marketing projects ranging from large to small corporations,such as the NBA comeback games, Syracuse University, and CrossFit. Having worked on a wide variety of marketing techniques and channels, digital marketing is by far her favorite.  The ever changing industry and techniques keep her interested and occupied.  

Outside of StringCan, Michelle is an active USA Weightlifting competitor both locally and nationally.  She has competed in numerous local competitions and nationally in the 2012 American Open. She recently qualified for 2013 Collegiate Nationals Championship Competition in April 2013.

Derek drives all creative strategy and direction for StringCan Interactive.  As a partner of StringCan Interactive and owner of HalfmanHalfMachine Derek works closely with the team at StringCan to help find visual and intuitive solutions for clients to enhance the presence of their business on-line.

Finding the right look and feel for a company and the story that lies within is both a passion and practice and one he has taken to a variety of projects for over 10 years with HalfmanHalfmachine. From start-up entrepreneurs to independent films, the goal is to find and define a unique and memorable experience.

Walker Thornton has joined the StringCan Interactive team as a content strategist focusing on strategic analysis, content collection, management of content, and publishing, which includes publication and post-publication digital activities. Walker enjoys blogging and you can find samples of her work at Little Butterfly Kiss, ThirdAge, as well as her own blog, A Page of Her Own.

Drawing from a wealth of life experiences and her love of writing, her work is customer/client focused. With easy readability, great research skills and keyword research based on how customers actually search online, Walker creates meaningful and compelling content to attract and retain customers helping brands stand out from the competition.
