Introducing StringCan’s New Digital Marketing Intern – Delaney Lamoureux

Eric is a creative genius with a passion for graphic design and creative support for client projects.

We added another awesome summer intern, Delaney Lamoureux, to our team! Delaney is working with our Scottsdale and Paris office to learn more about international business and digital marketing. Outside of work and school, Delaney enjoys traveling and having new experiences with her friends. If you want to learn more about her, read our interview with her below!

Tell us a little about yourself! Where are you from and what’s your story?

I was born in Scottsdale, Arizona and moved to Washington D.C. when I was 6 months old. My family and I stayed there for five years until we moved to Washington State. I spent my elementary school years in Washington until third grade when we moved back to Arizona. I have been here ever since!

How would you describe your personality in 5 words or less?

Sarcastic, laid-back, independent, spontaneous and curious.

What could we find you doing outside of the office? What are your passions?

Currently I am working as a hostess at The Mission restaurant, so that takes a lot of my free time. For fun, I enjoy going on spontaneous trips with my friends as well as relaxing by the pool.

If you could choose anyone, who would you pick as your mentor?

I would choose Angelina Jolie. The humanitarian work she does is very inspiring and I think that she is an all-around good role model for women to look up too.

If you were reincarnated as an animal/drink/ice cream flavor, what would it be?

If I were reincarnated as a drink, I would be coffee with extra cream and two sugars because that way I would always brighten your mood!

If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would you go and what would you do?

I would jump on a plane to Jamaica and lay on the beach for as long as possible, drinking everything out of a pineapple.

You just won a million dollars, what is the most irresponsible purchase you’re going to make?

I would take 10 of my closest friends on a yearlong trip to Europe, paying everyone’s way. Life doesn't stop; we can always go back to school and work when we get back from the trip. I would also buy myself a new Jeep Wrangler.

What’s your favorite YouTube video and why?

This is my favorite video on YouTube at the moment because I love all GoPro videos and “The Art of Flight” is my favorite movie, which is similar to this video. I love to snowboard and watching other people snowboard is so interesting to me.

On a serious note, what are you most looking forward to learning from StringCan?

I am looking forward to learning about digital marketing, presenting ideas to my team, and mastering new agency systems. I'm interested in learning real-world skills that I can take with me throughout my career.

What will clients enjoy most about working with you?

I think clients will enjoy working with me because I am extremely detail-oriented and very organized. I make sure that I have all the information I need to successfully complete a project 100% accurately from beginning to end.

What do results mean to you?

Results are very important because they reflect a process that I put a lot of time and effort into. In the end, I love to see happy customers as well as quality products.

What is your proudest accomplishment and why?

My proudest accomplishment was when I planned an event in high school, which allowed our Service Learning class to help with the Special Olympics and work with children across the valley with special needs. I spearheaded this project and worked closely with my teacher to make sure the event went smoothly and the kids were having as much fun as possible. Seeing their faces light up with excitement is what inspired me to continue to volunteer and help people as much as possible.
