We are very excited to introduce our new digital marketing analytics intern, Lindsay Martino! Lindsay will be helping our team analyze our marketing efforts, and will assist us in carrying out our strategic marketing tactics. We believe that Lindsay’s positive and hard-working attitude will be a great addition to the StringCan team!
Tell us a little about yourself! Where are you from and what’s your story?
My name is Lindsay Martino and I am currently a student at Arizona State majoring in marketing. I was born and raised in Arizona where I grew up in Ahwatukee and now call Cave Creek my home. I will be graduating in December and cannot wait to see what my future holds!
How would you describe your personality in 5 words or less?
Compassionate, Diligent, Motivated, Punctual
What could we find you doing outside of the office? What are your passions?
I love fitness and working out! I recently started practicing yoga a couple times a week, which I am really enjoying. I also really love being with family and friends and being outdoors.
Please explain your vision board below and what it means to you.
My vision board shows text and pictures of some of the things that I vision for myself down the road. I want to be successful, healthy, have lots of family and friends surrounding me, and have a profession in digital marketing because it’s what I enjoy most.
If you could travel anywhere in the world right now where would you go and what would you do?
I would really love to go to Italy! I am half Italian so I would love to see the culture and have the opportunity to experience the food and people of the country.
You just won a million dollars! What is the most irresponsible purchase you’re going to make?
I would go on a huge shopping spree and spend money on more clothes than I would ever possibly need.
If you had to choose a theme song, who sings it and what would it be?
My theme song would be “Life is a Highway” by Rascal Flatts because it’s a country song and I love country music, and because of the lyrics stating how life is always an adventure.
What’s something totally unique about you, that nobody at StringCan knows?
I had a lobectomy over the summer so I am missing half of my left lung. I think that’s something pretty unique that nobody would probably ever know.
If you took 3 movies with you to a desert island which 3 would you take, and why?
Trainwreck because I absolutely love Amy Schumer, Meangirls because it’s a classic, and Frozen because I love Disney movies.
What is one or two of your favorite brands, and why?
Starbucks because I am obsessed with coffee and I think their brand image and the way they represent themselves to consumers is amazing.
What’s your favorite YouTube video and why?
My favorite YouTube video is “Me at the Zoo.” I just saw it for the first time a couple weeks ago and it’s super funny and was the very first video ever on YouTube.
On a serious note, what are you most looking forward to learning from StringCan?
I am really looking forward to learning a lot more about Google Analytics, as well as the overall aspect and culture that StringCan has.
What excites you about digital strategy and marketing?
I enjoy being able to be creative and come up with different ideas and strategies for clients and customers because it’s very exciting.
What will clients enjoy most about working with you?
I am very understanding and attentive to clients’ needs. I also listen to feedback and criticism well.
What do results mean to you?
Results are something meaningful and something that you can be proud of because they show the hard work that you put into something.
What is your proudest accomplishment and why?
My proudest accomplishment was being able to have the opportunity to finish my last semester of college and knowing I will get to have a college degree.
