GameTruck is a mobile video game theater, laser tag, and bubble soccer designed to bring a social atmosphere of gaming to kids parties and corporate events with over 64 operating franchisees across the nation based on the mission to make video gaming and esports an experience that brings people together in real-life – beyond the screen.
In the Fall of 2015 GameTruck was at their then peak, but by December they had hit a wall. Their bookings hit an all-time low and leads were coming at a sluggish pace; that’s where we stepped in.
Taking a step back to better understand their business, we interviewed their customers and sales representatives to better understand their buyer personas. After determining who their buyers were, we created a strategy on how to best engage with them online to increase profits at optimal cost. Knowing how their personas search online, we created a Google Ad campaign with tailored messaging and structured keyword lists their customers are most likely use to search online. We worked with individual franchisees located across the U.S. to localize their marketing efforts and focus lead generation for their territories.
Since partnering with StringCan GameTruck has experienced exceptional growth expanding to over 75 GameTruck locations across the nation. After implementing our paid media tactics we saw a 180% improvement in leads that brought GameTruck into their largest booking months for three consecutive months.
