Swell Farmacy was a top medical cannabis dispensary with 4 locations throughout Phoenix, Arizona looking to improve their medical marijuana marketing. In April of 2018, Swell was acquired by a cannabis-focused private equity firm.
Swell needed help optimizing their website, improving their organic and local search results, driving awareness in the Arizona medical marijuana community, and increasing their number of patients.
We immersed ourselves in their business and brand by interviewing patients and staff and visiting their locations. We developed three key personas based on market research and insights learned from asking their patients why they chose Swell. We then audited all marketing efforts and analyzed their website and data to find the biggest issues and opportunities for improvement.
