Project Description

About World Trade Centers Association

The World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) stimulates trade and investment opportunities for commercial property developers, economic development agencies, and international businesses looking to connect globally and prosper locally. The WTCA serves as an ‘international ecosystem’ of global connections, iconic properties, and integrated trade services under the umbrella of a prestigious brand.

Problem

What if you could take a network of over 300 World Trade Centers operating independently within their regional business environments and create a more recognizable, globally branded, tech platform that ensures a more connected and sustainable international business network? How would you seamlessly connect over 15,000 WTC employees and potentially 1MM of its global business members? We were asked by the WTCA headquarters in New York City to answer these very questions and deliver a refreshed brand with a truly unique, global user experience. Needless to say, our imagination ran wild and we embarked on a great opportunity to redefine the international business landscape with an iconic global brand.

Solution

After extensive research into the organization and its current and prospective global licensees and business members, we created a digital marketing strategy in order to achieve the WTCA’s determined goals and objectives as a global venture. Leveraging WTCA’s brand, vision, background research, personas, competitor information, technological and digital needs, this blueprint encompasses the details for a successful, measurable pre-launch, launch, and post-launch campaign.

Results

The WTCA invested in a brand “refresh” to align the brand with creating an extensive online presence and digital experience, allowing them to leverage their position, achieve global visibility and consistency, and realize synergies across global markets.

In addition to initiating the backend development of a new proprietary platform, we helped create a digital presence with an updated website and tech platform, member login, social media updates, global business news and events aggregator, and everything in between. Upon the finalization of front end design, the overlay process began, and after several months of work, we re-launched WTCA.org. WTCA network feedback shared was, “The final results were amazing!”

Eric Dahl

I’ve worked with many partners before and have been very impressed with the unique way StringCan approaches the online marketing and technology landscape. They invested a significant amount of time to understand our business and created a very smart and strategic plan on how we can leverage the digital landscape, starting with our new website, to generate real business results.
